Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher
Divya’s aim in life is to help individuals and communities find ease in life.
She came to yoga and meditation in 1999, trained in the UK, India and US, and continues to study and practice while teaching full in person and online.
Divya is an advanced accredited Yoga Teacher (International Yoga Alliance). The yoga and mindfulness classes she delivers are quiet practices that calm the mind as well as balancing the energy of the body. Spiritual connection as well as wellbeing for everyday life are a part of every class.
Her specialisms are Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Meditation. She is also a mentor in the mindfulness field.
A former newspaper journalist, and with an MA in English from Cambridge University, Divya has a continued love of writing and is a published author. Her book, Finding Peace in Difficult Times, was published by Watkins in 2021.
