The Humble Hangout is our lovingly created café space at The Humble Heart — a place to pause, connect and simply be. We’ve softly launched with drinks and snacks, inviting you to come in, take a seat and soak up the atmosphere while we grow gently and intentionally.

The Humble Hangout is designed to be somewhere you genuinely want to spend time. From comfy chairs to aesthetics like our newest mural by local artist Suzie Suzko, every detail has been chosen to create a relaxed, welcoming and soulful vibe. Whether you’re popping in before or after a class or treatment — or just coming to hang — this space is yours.

At The Humble Hangout, our brunch menu is all about fresh, nourishing food served in a warm and welcoming space. Co-created by local chef Amy Smith, who also cooks at Liban Coast, the menu brings together vibrant flavours, wholesome ingredients and comforting favourites.
Amy is a joy both in and out of the kitchen, working alongside Chris, who prepares our delicious weekday ‘grab on the go’ lunch menu.
We offer speciality drinks, homemade cakes and seasonal dishes, with plenty of options for both vegetarians and vegans.
The Humble Hangout is a cosy community café designed to help you slow down, connect and feel at home.
Home-Baked Goodness
We’re serving a small but mighty selection of home-baked treats, including Chris’ world-famous Burnt Basque Cheesecake (yes, it really is that good) and his Homemade Sausage Rolls.
More sweet magic is available too, we have collaborations with Guacamaya’s Nest, bringing their delicious cinnamon rolls into the Hangout, The Baked Banana deliciously unique banana bread cake concoctions, a Vegan selection from Raffo & Ridgeway and more specialties from MEP Kitchen, Sable Tart and Honeycomb Cakes.
In the week, when Brunch isn’t on, Chris has a selection of freshly made Breakfast Baps, Granola Bowls, Toasted Sandwiches and Salads. Come in to find out what’s on the menu weekly!
Consciously Chosen Drinks
At the heart of The Humble Hangout is our much-loved Cacao Bar. More than just a hot drink, Cacao has been used for centuries in ceremony and connection, offering a nourishing alternative to coffee that supports focus, wellbeing and a sense of calm.
Explore our menu of delicious Cacao creations, from warming spiced blends to indulgent seasonal specials, all crafted to bring a little joy to your day.
Alongside our Cacao offerings, you'll also find quality Coffee, Luxury Chai, and a selection of consciously sourced drinks, some from local makers, designed to nourish body, mind and spirit.
We are open for walk-ins and after class treats every day.

About Us
The Humble Hangout was created from a shared vision to build a warm, welcoming space where community can truly thrive. Founded by Chris and Jo, owner of The Humble Hub and The Humble Heart.
The Humble Hangout was born from a desire to offer something a little different: a place where a Holistic Studio, Therapy Rooms, good affordable food, great conversation and meaningful gatherings come together under one roof. Plus the Cacao Bar, was a must have!
While the idea was sparked from both hearts, Chris is very much the one running the show day to day and the talent behind the food and drinks. As our resident chef and host, he brings warmth, humour and a genuine love of people into the space. Chris is happiest in the kitchen or chatting at the counter, welcoming you in, sharing stories and making sure everyone feels right at home.
The Humble Hangout is more than just a café or event space — it’s an extension of our belief that community matters. We can’t wait to welcome you in.

Plus we have our beautiful studio space which can transform into a dancefloor or provide additional seating for larger groups.
