Katie Day

Katie is one of the leading voices and trainers on the menopause in the UK, and has many UK and global private, public, health and education sector clients where she delivers RDPI’s suite of programmes under the banner of ‘Midlife Matters’. She is an Associate of the British Menopause Society, a member of EMAS (European Menopause and Andropause Society), a member IMS (International Menopause Society) and works in close collaboration with leading clinical partners, two Professors of Gynaecology.

She has appeared on TV and Radio in the UK, India, Canada, US, Australia and the Middle East, with the most recent being BBC Radio Sussex. In April 2022 and October 2023 she organised and delivered menopause conferences in UK Parliament with a panel of national speakers including 2 MPs and 1 Minister.

Katie has been in the ED&I space for over 35 years, working for The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as Gender Diversity Lead, and for Business in the Community where she supported 40 national public and private sector organisations on their gender diversity and corporate social responsibility agendas. She developed a leadership and personal development programme for women in the early 1990s, which she has delivered in the UK, the US, India, the Middle East and Africa. Katie started her own business in 2004, is a qualified business coach and continues to work with clients on leadership, communication, team building and resilience courses for everyone.

She has written two books on women’s personal development, and appears regularly as a key-note speaker at global conferences. She gave a TEDx talk in 2019 – The Roar of the Menopause. Her new book Menopause is really strange will be published in August 2026.

In 2024 she graduated with Distinction from University of Wales, Trinity St David with a Masters in Professional Practice, her research project was on menopause and personality. She will be continuing this research via a Doctorate.
